Certain credit cards are better than others to be sold as credit tradelines. The BEST cards to be sold as a tradeline is the oldest card you have with the highest limit! If you are trying to apply for a card that could be sold as a tradeline in the future, I have some suggestions.
Firstly, you want to apply for a card that on average gives a higher credit limit. This is very subjective since your limit is largely based on your credit score and history. Even with great credit there are certain cards that just don’t give high credit limits for whatever reason.
The second thing you want to think about, and avoid, is the annual fee. If you are applying for a card to eventually sell as a tradeline you don’t want to be paying an annual fee unless that card just has insane bonuses and perks.
The third thing you want to consider is the sign up bonus and perks. Double dipping in the credit card world is probably one of the greatest financial hacks there is. Singing up for a card that gives you a large credit limit (raising your credit score), and then turns around and gives you a big sign up bonus that you later redeem for flights is incredible! Then you exponentially increase the value of that card when you start using it to sell it as a tradeline. Baller move.
